Rafael Ben is an Energy Specialist for the Latin America and Caribbean Region at the World Bank. His professional focus is on the design and implementation of projects to decarbonize the economy, such as renewable energy, green hydrogen and smart grids. He is a Chemical Engineer, holds a Master's degree in Renewable Energy and Energy Markets from the School of Industrial Organization and a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Electrical Engineering from the University Carlos III of Madrid.
