Social Protection Sector Manager
Roberta Gatti is currently the Social Protection Sector Manager and Lead Human Development Economist for the Middle East and North Africa Region at the World Bank. Her research includes theoretical and empirical contributions in labor economics, pensions, governance, and growth and has been published in leading field journals. She has also worked extensively on technical advisory activities in labor markets reform in a number of countries. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University and has taught at Johns Hopkins and Georgetown University.
