CNBV economic research team
Saidé Salazar is member of CNBV's economic research team, currently working on a nationwide survey aimed at identifying financing and competitiveness factors affecting an important segment of private enterprises in Mexico. Her research interests focus on the analysis of credit constraints faced by private firms, the entrepreneurial activity in micro and small enterprises, and the impact of financial savings on economic growth. Before joining CNBV, Saidé held various positions as a researcher in the Public Sector, studying the impact of banking infrastructure on manufacturing production in Mexican municipalities and U.S. counties, and participating in the evaluation of microfinance government programs. She has also been involved in the analysis of the energy sector in Mexico. Saidé holds a B.A. in Economics from CIDE (Mexico), and an MSc. in Economics from El Colegio de Mexico (Mexico).
