Sajid is an Environmental Specialist with a background in coastal management, conservation, and disaster risk management. As a part of the West Africa Coastal Areas Management Program (WACA) team, he is interested in trying things that haven’t been done before to find innovative solutions and partnerships that can have a transformational impact on the resilience of coastal communities. He received an MA in Environmental Policy from American University, and a BS in Biology from Duke University, where his time at the Marine Lab changed the course of his career forever.
