Siegfried Zottel is an Economist currently working in the World Bank’s Financial Inclusion Global Practice, where he is responsible for the practice’s Consumer Protection and Financial Capability (CPFC) surveys. Prior to joining the Bank in November 2011, he has been working in the Economic Analysis Division of the Austrian Central Bank for more than 3 years. During this time he conducted nationally representative household surveys, with a focus on households’ wealth. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and a Master’s in International Development Studies from the University of Vienna.
