Simon Duchatelet works in the Finance, Competitiveness & Innovation Global Practice of the World Bank Group. He first joined the Bank in 2014 and currently works on entrepreneurship and innovation in Africa and the Middle East. Simon loves being in the field to get inspired and energized interacting with bold, ambitious, and game-changing entrepreneurs. Before coming to the Bank, Simon was a management consultant at Deloitte in Africa and worked for a cleantech startup in East-Africa, in addition to several volunteering experiences. He graduated from EDHEC Business School.
