Private Sector Analyst
Simon Duchatelet works in the Trade & Competitiveness Global Practice of the World Bank Group in West Africa. He first joined the Bank in 2014 and is currently based in Bamako, Mali, where he mainly works on entrepreneurship and innovation, with a focus on agribusiness and cleantech. Simon loves being in the field to get inspired and energized interacting with bold, ambitious, and game-changing entrepreneurs. Before coming to the Bank, Simon was a management consultant at Deloitte and worked for a green startup in East-Africa, in addition to several volunteering experiences, which brought him to countries like India, Burkina Faso, Uganda, Mauritania, Guinea, Niger, and Morocco. He graduated from EDHEC Business School.
