Sophie Ayling is a Consultant for the Water Global Practice of the World Bank. She provides analytical and advisory services support and is particularly interested in bringing relevant analytical work to include data analysis and impact evaluation techniques to Bank operations. She works primarily in water and sanitation and has some experience in financial inclusion and urban development sectors. She has a BA from Oxford University in Modern History and Politics and an MSc in Development Administration and Planning from University College London, UK. Prior to joining the World Bank she worked at Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), Peru.
