Stefan Kossoff is Head of Profession for Governance in DFID, a role which includes technical oversight and leadership of DFID’s 120+ Governance Advisers. Stefan joined DFID in 1999 and has provided governance advice to many DFID country programmes, including long-term postings in East Africa and the Middle East. His areas of specialism include political economy analysis; democratic governance; public sector reform; and security and justice policy.
