Syd Dinlemez

Education Development Specialist
Syd is an education development specialist, with a focus on institutional & human resilience, social inclusion and skills assessment & development. His expertise encompasses Europe and Central Asia. Currently he is working as a consultant at the World Bank with the Education Global Practice, Global Engagement and Knowledge (GEAK).
 
Before joining the Bank, he consulted and advised public institutions, higher-education institutions and NGOs, designing, implementing and evaluating education development, social inclusion and skills assessment projects including vulnerable youth, IDPs and refugees in the South Caucasus region and Turkey. Previously, he worked as a business development consultant for the private sector. He also worked as a research associate and lecturer in Azerbaijan. Syd has lived and worked in the field of education in several countries, including Georgia, Romania, Russia and Kazakhstan. He received his MA degree in International Development from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), with a focus on institutional resilience and sociology.
