Tobias is an economist who has been working with young entrepreneurs and social innovators from throughout the Middle East and North Africa region since the Arab Spring. As Social Development Specialist with the World Bank he co-leads the MENA Youth Platform that supports innovation ecosystems in the region. His latest projects focus on youth-led solutions with refugees in host communities, and in conflict-affected countries.
