Uwimana Basaninyenzi
Communications Associate
Uwi Basaninyenzi is currently a Communications Associate with the World Bank's External Affairs Operational Communication department (EXTOC). She has several years of experience in the areas of marketing, communication, and publicity for various organizations, including the National Environmental Policy Institute, the Brookings Institution, and UN Volunteer for the Rwanda Bureau of Information and Broadcasting (ORINFOR). She also served as Managing Editor for the Review of Policy Research, an international peer-reviewed journal that examines the politics and policy of science and technology. Uwi holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa and a Master’s degree in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University.
