Xavier Espinet is a transport economist at the World Bank working in the Latin American and The Caribbean region.  He supports the transport sector in LAC countries in their climate change agenda - supporting the transition to low-carbon mobility and bring climate resilience to their transportation systems. Previously, he has worked across a range of countries including Mozambique, Vietnam, Sierra Leone and Albania. Xavier Espinet holds a civil engineering degree from the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya and a PhD in civil systems from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
