Xiao Wu is working in Social, Urban, Rural and Resilience Global Practice of the World Bank and based in the Bank’s China Country Office in Beijing. She is currently working on operational and analytical urban projects related to urban infrastructure, urban resilience, and disaster risk management. She is taking a lead role in the roll out of the Climate Action for Urban Sustainability (CURB) in China. Prior to joining to the Bank, Xiao worked at a consulting firm focusing on Asian Development Bank financed projects in water sector. She holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology in U.S.A., a Bachelor’s Degree from Hohai University in Electronic Information Engineering in China, and a Project Management Professional Certification.
