Yeon Soo Kim

Economist, Poverty and Equity Global Practice
Yeon Soo Kim is currently Economist in the Poverty and Equity Global Practice of the World Bank. She has worked on various issues related to the monitoring and understanding of welfare, such as poverty monitoring in Egypt, the crisis impact on welfare in Yemen, spatial disparities and informal employment in Russia, and housing policies and welfare for countries in the European Union.

Prior to joining the World Bank, she was a research fellow at the Korea Development Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
