Zhenia Viatchaninova is an ICT consultant specializing on implementation of open data and open government projects in the Russian Federation and other CIS member states. A Fulbright Fellow from Ukraine, she is currently in her last semester at Syracuse University pursuing a dual Master's program in Public Diplomacy (MA in International Relations & MS in Public Relations). Zhenia’s professional interests revolve around international aid diplomacy, governance transformation, social entrepreneurship, and global resource security (energy & water). A graduate of journalism department at University of Kyiv, she has experience working in radio journalism, public affairs and PR, event and nonprofit project management in Ukraine, Canada, and the U.S.
