Ergys Islamaj
Ergys Islamaj is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at Vassar College, New York.  His research interests lie in the fields of international finance and open macroeconomics, focusing on policy related challenges faced by emerging and developing economies. Ergys received his Ph.D. from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. His recent papers include work on consumption smoothing, exchange rate pass-through, the effects of financial crises on sectoral output and employment, and the behavior of hedge funds in the U.S. and emerging markets.
