Noam Angrist is affiliated with the University of Oxford’s Center for the Study of African Economics (CSAE) and is the Executive Director of Young 1ove – an NGO based in Botswana committed to bridging the gap between evidence in health and education and translation into scaled policy and practice. Angrist’s interests center on external validity, replication, education quality measurement, HIV/AIDS prevention, and youth empowerment. Angrist has worked at the University of Botswana, the Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), the World Bank, the White House, and has worked with the governments of Kenya and Botswana to replicate, evaluate and implement evidence-based programs. Angrist has a B.S. in Mathematics & Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MSc. in Evidence-Based Policy Evaluation from the University of Oxford.
