Energy Economist, The World Bank
Fan Zhang is an Energy Economist in the World Bank’s Eastern Europe and Central Asian Vice-Presidency whose recent work has focused on energy, environmental and climate change policies, and their impacts on economic development and social welfare. She is co-author of Growing Green: The Economic Benefits of Climate Action in ECA, and has led or participated in energy investment programs in Belarus and Turkey. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Fan was an Assistant Professor of Energy Economics and Policy at the Pennsylvania State University. She has a PhD in environmental and energy economics from Harvard University.
