You might be noticing a few changes over here on the World Bank Meetings Center over the next few days — the elements around the main blog post area are slowly changing in preparation for the Annual Meetings.

The Annual Meetings are being held in Istanbul in early October, and over the next few weeks, we'll be bringing you updates about the run-up to the Meetings, as well as updates from Istanbul and the Meetings themselves.

Stay tuned for more videos from our VOICES series, as well as special guest posts from World Bank experts, talking about the work they do here at the Bank and the issues they're going to be discussing at the Meetings.

If you're looking for content from the 2009 Spring Meetings, you can find the daily highlights here. In the meantime, thanks for your patience. We're almost ready to launch a whole new series of updates, and look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas as well.

Jobs are increasingly wanted for young Africans. We at the Development Generation Africa International believe that the future is blank without active youths who are employed. So seeking urgent solutions for the armies of young unemployed should be a top priority to governments and the World Bank as education. Because youth unemployment is or would threaten our peace and security. As Dr. Victor Oye said, "the youth of Africa need jobs as much as education inorder to escape poverty and cope with current realities."
