Poverty is relative concept but in Africa is poverty is more pervasive. One of the strong views of causes is due to high fertility rates across Africa as many scholars have spoken. Many research findings documents that Africa is youngest content with over 60 percent of the population is youthful that needs to be fed. Now they remain with about 30 of the population which is productive excluding the aged population. Addressing poverty in this case is hardest if forge concreate intervention strategies are not formulated, first for reducing fertility in developing countries before seeking support from the IMF or World Bank. Further they need inward looking intervention strategies before one looks for external support which is sometimes not sustainable for addressing domestic constraints of respective nations.
