Last day at the Conference of Youth

We started the day with a relaxing dynamic in order to meet and keep in touch with someone from the Conferene of Youth (COY 6) before starting the exciting and busy week that is ahead. We found a person who was not from our own delegation and exchanged information and ideas so as to be in contact and start a new friendship.

Who should we listen to? Each other, that's who.

Last week was an exciting week. I was running around from youth conference to youth conference, inundated with ideas, and thoroughly exhausted, yet completely inspired. On Thursday, the Youth to Youth community of the World Bank Group (which I am also a part of) organized a conference designed to inspire young people to get engaged with our biggest global challenges, and take leadership roles in tackling them.

How many of you keep journals where you write down your thoughts and feelings? Does it make you feel good to get it all out on paper? Art in all its forms, whether writing, music, painting, dancing, etc. has been found to have an immensely therapeutic power on people. Often, it helps people give vent to deeply buried emotions and trauma that perhaps they would not face otherwise.

Soon in Morocco: the end of the ‘tramway’ suspense!

Morocco is about to launch the “masterpiece” it has been busy constructing over the past few years: a tramway! Oh yes, finally the Moroccan population will be able to enjoy, for the first time ever, riding a tramway to get from the capital Rabat to its neighbouring city Salé in reduced time and complete comfort.
