Jasmine Susanna Tillu
Urban Development Consultant
Jasmine Susanna Tillu is an urban development consultant with the Social, Urban, Rural and Resilience Global Practice of the World Bank. She is currently working on operational and analytical urban projects related to transit-oriented development, urban regeneration, and urban resilience in cities and towns. Prior to the World Bank, she was monitoring and evaluating planning projects and developing policy analyses at Energy Foundation, and helped multinational companies strategically achieve their sustainability goals at China Greentech Initiative. Social cohesion, mobility, and building a sense of place are some of the questions that plague her on her daily bike commute along Beijing’s ring roads. She holds a BA in international relations and anthropology from Mount Holyoke College and a MCP (master of city planning) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
