Claire Azzabi

Claire Azzabi is a Local Governance Consultant with the World Bank. Based in Tunis, Tunisia, Claire has been the focal point of the Urban Development and Local Governance Program since November 2014. In addition to ensuring the daily coordination of the flagship Program for Results of the Middle East and North Africa region, Claire is also leading the dialogue with donors involved in the decentralization agenda in Tunisia.
Prior to joining the World Bank, Claire established a firm offering project planning and fundraising services in sub-Saharan Africa and worked in a private consulting firm specialized in social protection reform. A French national, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Population Studies and a Master’s in Social Policy and Planning in Developing Countries from the London School of Economics.
