Emmanuelle Soubeyran was elected as the Director General of WOAH in May 2024. She is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with extensive expertise in animal health, veterinary public health, and the One Health approach. With decades of experience in crisis management and leadership, she has successfully navigated major health emergencies and made significant contributions to academic governance.
