Gabi Hyman is currently an Intern with the World Bank’s Gender Innovation Lab in the Dominican Republic, helping to design and implement a comprehensive sexual education program. She is pursuing her master’s degree in Global Human Development at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. At Georgetown, Gabi is focused on the intersection of poverty alleviation and gender empowerment, with an emphasis on Latin America and the Caribbean. She is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, having served as a Foreign Language Instructor and community development professional in rural Ecuador.
