Giacomo is a Cybersecurity Specialist in the Digital and AI Vice Presidency of the World Bank Group. He previously served as a Cybersecurity Research Officer at the International Telecommunication Union and holds a PhD in Engineering for Humans and the Environment from UCBM, where he is tutor for the cybersecurity module. His research interests focus on the development of cybersecurity strategies for the protection of critical sectors. Giacomo has a background in both consulting and academia and has authored several publications in academic, technical, and educational journals.
