Giacomo is a Cybersecurity Specialist in the Data and AI - Solutions and Impact Department in the World Bank Group. He previously served as a Cybersecurity Research Officer at the International Telecommunication Union and holds a PhD in Engineering for Humans and the Environment from UCBM, where he also served as a tutor for the cybersecurity module. His research interests focus on the development of cybersecurity strategies for the protection of critical sectors. Giacomo has a background in both consulting and academia and has authored several publications in academic, technical, and educational journals.
