Djedje Hermann Yohou serves as the World Bank’s Country Economist for Côte d’Ivoire, focusing on macroeconomic monitoring and fiscal policy. He has experience with the IMF, WHO, and FERDI, and his research—published in journals like World Economy and Journal of African Economies—covers topics such as taxation, corruption, debt, and capital markets. Hermann holds a PhD in Development Economics and master’s degrees from CERDI (University of Clermont-Ferrand, France), and from NPTCI in partnership with University Felix Houphouet Boigny and Cheick Anta Diop University.
