Juan Jose manages the WBG Scorecard end-to-end, ensuring transparency and accountability underscore our results measurement and reporting. He coordinates the Scorecard reporting cycle and supports leadership in using results data to steer decision-making.
Before joining the Bank, he was the Senior Advisor and Regional Lead for Middle East and Eastern Europe & West and Central Africa in the Centre of Government and Delivery Practice at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI), based in Dakar, Senegal. He has 20 years of experience with various government and development agencies across the world to strengthen governance and measurement systems, and on advancing managing-for-development-results approaches in public service. Juan Jose was the inaugural Head of the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit of the Government of Peru. He served before as Director of Policy Monitoring in the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion. He holds an MA in Public Affairs in Economics from Princeton University.
