Kaushiki Singh is an Economist at the World Bank, specializing in macroeconomic policy, public financial management, fiscal risk analysis, public finance, and advanced quantitative methods, including applied econometrics, Bayesian modeling, artificial intelligence, and data science. Prior to joining the World Bank, she spent more than a decade at the Reserve Bank of India, the country's central bank. Her work combines rigorous quantitative analysis with digital innovation, including the development of AI-enabled Public Investment Management and Public Asset Management solutions, geospatial analytics, climate budgeting tools, and fiscal risk assessment frameworks. Her research focuses on fiscal policy, public financial management, state-owned enterprise reform, and development outcomes, with recent work examining how public financial management influences health and education outcomes and how state-owned enterprise reforms can promote growth and fiscal sustainability. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics, with a minor in Statistics, from Iowa State University, where her doctoral research was at the intersection of Bayesian econometrics and Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium models. Her work combines empirical research and practical policy analysis to help countries address development challenges.
