Maria Garrido (Mina) is part of the leadership team of the World Bank’s GEMS (Geo-Enabling Initiative for Monitoring and Supervision) program, leading engagements in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Lusophone Africa to strengthen data-driven decision-making through geospatial solutions. Since joining in 2018, she has supported development projects, including in agriculture, and previously worked as an international trade advisor. She holds an MBA in International Management and a Master’s degree in Law, Business Administration, and Management.
