Dr. Medjy Pierre-Louis is a Young Professional at the World Bank. She specializes in learning assessments and educational research, with nearly ten years of experience working on issues related to data management, systems building, and learning assessments in fragile, conflict-affected, and vulnerable (FCV) settings. Currently, Medjy supports educational projects in several Lusophone and Francophone, West African countries, including Guinea-Bissau, Cabo Verde, Guinea, Benin, among others. Previously, she has consulted on various educational projects around the world with the Global Partnership for Education, the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Bank, and other development organizations. Medjy has also worked as a researcher at the University of Colorado-Boulder examining policy questions around learning assessments, survey design, and accountability.
