Sophia Muradyan is a Senior Private Sector Specialist in the East Africa region for the Finance, Competitiveness & Investment (FCI) Global Practice of the World Bank. Her advisory and operational work focuses on business enabling regulatory reforms, SMEs and entrepreneurship, value chains development, women entrepreneurship, and innovation. Previously, Sophia worked for the global Firms, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Team, where she provided expert cross-support to multiple lending operations, Advisory Service and Analytics activities and IFC advisory projects in West Africa, and the Europe and Central Asia and Middle East and North Africa regions.
