It's a good article and describe the true story about agriculture sector in Sri Lanka. We have started two projects in my organization, SANASA in line with government new environmental initiative Sri Lanka NEXT blue-green era. We select 100 villages based on our societies network to educate our members on sustainable consumption and production. We call it SANASA lassana Lanka program. Secondly, we are partnered with DiD the Canadian credit union movement on agriculture value development project. Above all I believe that community awareness on healthy eating is paramount. Not public sector can do this alone. I think organization like SANASA, based on cooperative values and principles should engage with this and government and international agencies can assist on achieving the targets, particularly on SDGs.
