Tomorrow, we're launching an online discussion on what are the prospects for advanced and developing economies of the world in the current global economic situation on the wall of our Facebook page.

Nobel Laureate Andrew Michael Spence, who was also the Chairperson of the Growth Commission will lead this online discussion and Mr N. Roberto Zagha, World Bank Country Director in India, will moderate the discussion.

Michael Spence, a theoretician whose work on the informational structure of markets was recognized with the Nobel Prize in economics in 2001 has given considerable thought to, and written about, the challenges of developing economies, and sustaining inclusive growth patterns.

More recently, Michael has written and published on development and global issues. His recent book "The Next Convergence: The Future of Economic Growth in a Multispeed World" provides new insights on the recent and future evolution of the global economy. He also writes a regular column for Project Syndicate.

Through this online discussion, we want to hear from you and initiate a dialogue with a broader audience on global economic scenario and prospects for countries like India. Michael will be responding to comments and queries sent by YOU.
