I suggest that you look at my paper "Removing Impediments to Sustainable Economic Development: The Case of Corruption" where you will find a partial answer to your question. In the list of top performing countries in Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index you will find many that have had a very good growth performance over the past two decades and have among the lowest Gini coefficients in the world.
