Communications Lead, Social, Urban, Rural and Resilience, World Bank Group
Kristyn Schrader-King is the Communications Lead for the World Bank’s Social, Urban, Rural and Resilience Global Practice, which tackles the world’s most complex development challenges in: social inclusion and sustainability; mainstreaming resilience in all dimensions of development; territorial and rural development; and urban planning, services and institutions. Before this, she was Senior Communications Officer in the World Bank’s Europe and Central Asia region, covering the western part of the region, including Eastern Europe, Western Balkans, and Turkey. Her communications career at the World Bank has also covered the Sustainable Development Vice Presidency, time in the World Bank’s Paris office, as well as the Bank’s Corporate Communications media team. Kristyn has a Master’s in International Relations from Boston University, a Bachelor’s degree in French with a minor in International Relations from Pennsylvania State University, and a certificate from the Sorbonne in Paris.
