Senior Governance Specialist
Abel Bove is Senior Governance Specialist for the World Bank, with experience in Cameroon, Nigeria, Guinea, Central Africa, Niger and Haiti. Abel has strong experience on Governance in sectors (Education, Health, Transport, Mining, Water, Telecom, Forestry, Social Protection), Political Economy Analysis, Social accountability, Decentralization and PFM.
Abel holds a MA in Governance and Development from the Institute of Development Studies (UK) and a MA in Asian Affairs (France). Prior to joining the Bank, Abel was project manager and country director in post-tsunami and post-conflict Aceh (Indonesia) on community-led development for an international NGO.
