Ahmad Aliyev, is the Community Business Mobilizer for the World Bank supported Azerbaijan Rural Investment Project since 2012. He graduated from the Faculty of Agro-chemistry and Soil Sciences, Agricultural Academy, Moscow, Russia in 1984. He worked as an agronomist at agro chemistry laboratories and testing stations for agricultural machinery during 1984 to 1992. He was Chief Instructor in the Plant Physiology and Biochemistry Department of the Azerbaijan State Agricultural Academy from 1993 to 2000. Prior to joining AzRIP he was consultant on rural livelihoods for USAID, FAO and EU from 2000 to 2012.
