Alexandra manages the development and implementation of the citizen engagement mechanism Barrio Digital, which aims to improve communication between the citizens of La Paz, Bolivia and their municipal government. She also worked with the World Bank Governance Global Practice on the implementation of a service-tracking and monitoring program to enhance local monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems in Nepal, Zambia, and Bolivia. Alexandra is also the Project Coordinator of the Trade and Competitiveness GP’s Social Enterprise Innovations online course “Innovative Business Models for Better Impact.” Alexandra’s fieldwork experience includes conducting primary research with stakeholders, designing implementation processes, and managing the development of program evaluation frameworks. Alexandra has trained government officials and the public in the use of new technologies to enhance communication channels between stakeholders and local and national governments in Bolivia. She has taught at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), the Global Language Network, and with AmeriCorps. Originally from Ecuador, Alexandra is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
