Almedina Music is an Economist in the Education Global Practice in the Middle East and Northern Africa Region. She currently coordinates the education program in Yemen. She also leads education interventions and research studies in Morocco and Syria. Her operational and analytical work focuses on education in conflict and fragility, gender, skills, and management of education systems. Between 2011-2017, she worked at the OECD on education, skills, and social mobility. A German national, Almedina is originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina. She holds a PhD in Economics from Paris School of Economics.
