Fragility and Conflict Specialist
Bernhard Metz joined the World Bank in 2012 and has been mainly working in the Social, Urban, Rural, and Resilience Global Practice. He has specialized on the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for analyses related to fragility, conflict, and violence (FCV) as well as forced displacement and established the team’s respective work stream. Before the World Bank, he worked for 4 years as assistant to the CEO of a financial services group and inter alia led the company's controlling team. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School as well as a Master’s in International Relations and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.
