Dina Ranarifidy is an Urban Specialist in the World Bank’s Urban Development department. Her work spans the areas of urban upgrading, local governance and decentralization in the two Congos, and Gabon where she is a task team leader for investment programs. She also contributes to the urban analytical program and led the Democratic Republic of Congo Urbanization Review and was a lead author of planning chapters for urbanization reviews in Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea.
A Malagasy national, Dina Ranarifidy is a graduate from La Sorbonne University and Sciences Po Paris. She was a Fulbright Humphrey scholar at Cornell University.
