Haruna Kashiwase is a consultant at the Development Data Group’s Sustainable Development Statistics team. Her areas of expertise include demography, gender, and health. She received a master’s degree in women’s studies, with a concentration in international development, from the George Washington University. She previously worked at the Population Reference Bureau, a nonprofit population and health research organization in Washington, D.C.
