Hyea Won Lee is a consultant in the World Bank’s Global Food and Agriculture Practice (GFADR) assisting the Internet of Things (IoT) for Agriculture Initiative. Before moving to the Agriculture Unit, Hyea Won started working in the Transport and ICT Global Practice for researching ICT Policy and cybersecurity issues in the global development context.

Prior to joining the World Bank, Hyea Won was an Assistant Manager at Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) where she participated in the cyberspace capacity building, the global Internet governance, and cybersecurity policy discussions. While at KISA, she also served as a secondee researcher in the Internet Policy Division of the Korean Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning.

She holds Master’s Degree in International Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) with the concentration in Energy, Resources, and Environment studies, and Bachelor’s in International Affairs and Economics from the George Washington University.
