Ibrahim Dajani is the Program Leader for Sustainable Development and Infrastructure for the Mashreq Countries (Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria) since November 2016. He joined the World Bank in August 1999 as a Transport / Environment Engineer. His current work program includes leading the transport and reconstruction operations and technical assistance activities in Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestinian Territories. Ibrahim has over 25 years of experience in 12 countries in infrastructure planning, reconstruction and development including transport, municipal, cultural heritage, solid waste management and job creation programs especially in fragile states and middle-income countries in the Middle East and North Africa Region. Ibrahim holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with focus on Transport and Environment Engineering from California State University Long Beach earned in 1993.
