Igor Kheyfets

Economist, Education Global Practice, World Bank
Igor Kheyfets is an Economist in the World Bank’s Education Global Practice. Since joining the World Bank in 2008, he has worked in the Africa and Europe and Central Asia regions on issues of public financing, education efficiency, and jobs and skills. He has authored or contributed to more than a dozen public expenditure reviews in education and numerous other analytical reports, and has worked on lending operations in Belarus, Moldova, and Uzbekistan. Igor is a co-founder of the World Bank’s BOOST initiative for public expenditure analysis and holds a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University.
