Jing Guo is an external affairs officer with the World Bank’s Social Protection and Jobs Global Practice. Previously, she served as a communications associate with the Bank’s corporate communications team, focusing on messaging, media relations, risk management, and ministerial level event planning. Jing is also a researcher by training and worked with the Bank’s Public Opinion Research Group, where she led global polls on development issues in more than a hundred countries.
Prior to the Bank, she was a public radio reporter in Ohio, a web editor, and a media partnership officer with China Central Television. Jing holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Media Psychology from the University of Maryland, where she was an Eleanor Merrill Scholar and taught for three years.
