Private Sector Development Specialist
Maria Kim is a Private Sector Development Specialist in the Trade and Competitiveness Global Practice of the World Bank Group. Maria is currently the Task Team Leader of the Business Development and Investment Project (BDI), based in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Prior to joining the Bank Group, Maria worked for the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), the United Nations University-Institute of Advanced Studies and Environment Canada. Maria holds an M,A. in Public Policy and Administration from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada and a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from the University of British Columbia. Maria speaks English, French, Spanish and Haitian Créole.
