Mario has more than a decade of online marketing and social media experience, as well as in-depth knowledge of the Bank's projects and research gleaned from eight years working in the Bank's publishing division. There, he built a robust social media presence for World Bank Publications from the ground up. Prior to joining the Bank, Mario was a Marketing Manager in the publishing and educational media industries, and started his career in the advertising industry. He holds a BA in Economics from Trinity College, Hartford, CT. When he's offline he enjoys traveling, sports, and quality time with his family, and he plays drums for his band Borracho, touring the States and Europe.
